POCKET ACES.

My friend…
Before I deal you in…
I’ve got a question for you.
What’s the most powerful word you know?
Weird way to start this off, but…
Marketers would say “free”.
Religious folk would say “faith”.
Romantics would say “love”.
But one specific creator had a different take.
That guy?

Willy friggin’ Shakespeare.
He said the most important word was…
Home.
That’s what the vision for VOMP is.
It’s a home for that creative side of you that needs an outlet.
It’s a community for creators that break sh*t.
*Rules, definitions, expectations, and sometimes laws (just kidding if you’re any of the 3-letter agencies reading this.)
THE OLD WAYS OF BEING TOLD HOW YOU’RE SUPPOSED TO DO IT ARE OUT.
The internet made that so.
A tip of the cap is owed to creators who lit the path of invention and creation…
Those such as Da Vinci, Kahlo, Edison, Basquiat, and Angelou. And later those such as Zuck, Bourdain, Oprah, Banksy, and Seinfeld. People told them what the “rules” were. The most influential creators in history were called a list of names longer than a CVS receipt… | ![]() |
… By those who didn’t understand the call for creation.
Some of those names were…
VANDALS. OUTLAWS. MISFITS. PIRATES.
Yet…
They leaned in and created - anyway.
And today?
People still try to tell creators how and what to create.
People still try to tell creators what won’t work.
But the internet gives us leverage, distribution, and the ability to fight back.
To find the souls out there that see the world the same way we do.
To build real relationships with those misfits that nerd out over the same stuff we do.
To build businesses and provide for ourselves through our unique quirks and vulnerabilities.
Now we’ve got a new crew of vandals, outlaws, misfits, and pirates leaning into their creativity.
Showing us how to create content, build audiences, and earn what we’re worth.

Led by creators like Gary Vee, Liza Koshy, Casey Neistat, & Marquess Brownlee.
Creators who create cooler, build better, earn easier, and write their own rules.
So before you head over to your inbox to see an email with the subject line, “They’ve always worked for me…”
WEBSTER’S SAYS THIS. WE SAY THAT.
We’re gonna redefine some words so we’re all on the same page.
And so you know you’re in the right place.
Because you are.
Right here, right now:
VANDAL
Old: a person who deliberately destroys or damages public or private property.
New: a person who deliberately destroys or damages public or private expectations
OUTLAW
Old: a person who has broken the law, especially one who remains at large or is a fugitive
New: a person who has broken the “rules”, especially one who creates with reckless abandon
MISFIT
Old: a person whose behavior or attitude sets them apart from others in an uncomfortably conspicuous way
New: a person whose self-belief and creative capacity sets them apart from others
PIRATE
Old: a person who attacks and robs ships at sea
New: a person who attacks and robs the voice in their head that ever told them they couldn’t do something
THIS IS A PLACE TO CREATE WITH RECKLESS ABANDON.
So let’s create.
You’ll receive the first Mood Board this cominging Friday.
